San Diego military personnel and MWR patrons who visit San Diego will enjoy the convenience of two local RV parks as well as beach and bay view cottages.

North Island Beach Cottages

Breakers Beach is the proud home of twenty amazing new beach cottages. Relax in a casually elegant two-bedroom cottage that includes a fully-equipped kitchen, flat-screen cable TVs with a Blu-ray/DVD player, WiFi Internet access, linens, a private bath, patio, and BBQ. These single-story units are right on the beach and have stunning views of the Pacific Ocean. Eligible patrons include active duty, reservists, retirees and DoD civilians. Bay View Cottages

Our two new cottages are beautifully appointed with fully-equipped kitchens, flat-screen cable TVs with DVD players, Internet access (WiFi), telephones, linens, private baths and patios. The single-story, one and two-bedroom units, share a spectacular view of San Diego Bay. Eligible patrons include active duty, reservists, retirees and DoD civilians. Fiddler's Cove Marina & RV Park

Fiddler's Cove RV Park is open again for Dry Camping only! Fiddler’s Cove RV Park is one of the Navy’s finest overlooking the glimmering waters of the San Diego Bay and offering scenic views of the bay, bridge and downtown skyline. Adjacent to a full-service marina, the RV Park features laundry, restroom facilities, bike paths, dump station, dog run, boat rental, WiFi, grills, patios, fire rings and a ship’s store where you will find all your vacation needs. Whether you are a fishing or sailing enthusiast or just love to camp and relax near the water, Fiddler’s Cove is the perfect place for a unique San Diego-style adventure. From Interstate 8 and 163: Merge onto Interstate 5 South. Then merge onto CA-75 South toward Coronado (i.e. cross the Coronado Bridge). Turn left onto Orange Avenue and continue to follow CA-75 South. The Fiddler’s Cove Marina & RV Park is the first exit south of the Naval Amphibious Base.

Admiral Baker Picnic Grounds / RV Park

Nestled in the middle of the Admiral Baker Golf Course in Mission Valley, this picnic area and RV Park are surrounded by green grass and tree-lined roads. The grounds are centrally located just a few miles away from the major San Diego freeways, Interstate 8 and Interstate 15, and only ten minutes away from the city's Qualcomm Stadium.

The grounds are well suited for adults and children as they feature extensive playground equipment, and outdoor swimming pool, picnic areas, two volleyball courts, a basketball court, three ball fields, two tennis courts, and two horseshoe pits. The RV Park offers RV sites with water, electric and sewage hook-ups. (Call for fees.)

Laundry and showers are also available. Reservations may be made three months in advance by active duty and two months in advance for all other eligible patrons. Maximum stay at the park is two weeks, although this time may be extended for another two weeks if the park accomodates.

Pets are allowed in the RV Park area but not in the picnic area, but must be leashed and cleaned up after at all times. An eligible rig may sponsor one guest rig. Sites are different lenghts, we appreciate your flexibility to ensure we can accommodate as many customers as possible.

From Interstate 8: Take Mission Gorge Road to Friars Road and turn left. Continue on to Santo Road and turn right. Make an immediate right again onto Admiral Baker Road and follow it down the hill. At the bottom on the hill turn right into the parking lot.

From Interstate 15: Exit Friars Road East. Follow Friars Road to Santo Road. At Santo Road turn left. Take an immediate right onto Admiral Baker Road and follow it down the hill. At the bottom on the hill turn right into the parking lot.
