Located in the Anchors Catering & Conference Center at the I-5 freeway off ramp at Main St./National City Blvd. Applications are accepted from 8 am to 4 pm Monday through Thursday and 8 to Noon on Fridays for a wide variety of positions for recreation, food service, child care and hospitality positions.

How To Apply

Please download and fill out the NAF application. You can submit in one of three ways:

1. Submit your completed application or resume in person.
2. Attach in email to mwr.hr.dept@mwrsw.com
3. Print and fax to MWR HR Department at 619-556-9537

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a Federal Agency?
Yes. However, we are a Non-Appropriated Funds Instrumentality. We are paid with funds generated in our own programs rather than Congressional monies.

Who is CSP?
CSP is Community Support Programs. We provide mission-essential support to the military, Retirees and DoD Civilians through various programs including Child and Youth programs, Housing, Recreation, Fitness, Dining Services, etc.

Do I have to join the Navy or be a military dependent to apply?
No and you don't have to wear a uniform. These are civilian positions. Once hired, you will be given an ID card to allow base access.

Where do I apply?
An application form is available above. You may submit an application via fax at 619-556-9537, send by email to: mwr.hr.dept@mwrsw.com or you may drop it off at Bldg 3210 Yama Street, Naval Base San Diego.

Is a background check required?
Yes. If you have a concern about your background you can discuss it with a personnel department representative. It is important that you are 100% truthful.

What happens after I apply?
Once we receive your application, we will forward it along with all other applications received, to the hiring manager. The manager will call the best qualified candidates for an interview.

How do I know if I was selected?
A representative from the NAF Human Resources Office will notify you by phone.

Do you check references?
Yes. It is a good idea to alert your references that they may receive a call.

What do I need to bring for orientation?
You will need a completed Direct Deposit form (completed by you and your bank representative), a government issued picture ID and any document that establishes eligibility to work in the United States, such as your Social Security card or Birth Certificate.
