If you've asked yourself where on base you can sit, relax and have some fun at little or no cost it would have to be the MWR Theater! Free first run movies are shown every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights starting at 7:00 pm, doors open at 6pm. Matinees are shown every Saturday and Sunday afternoon. Show starts at 1pm, doors open at 12pm.

The facility features a 985 seat house with professional 35mm film format and Dolby Pro Logic surround sound. The facility also can fill you popcorn and candy cravings at the facility’s snack bar.

Do you have kids? During the summer the facility offers summer children's movie matinees during summer vacation! Just check out the Golden Eagle newspaper every Friday for a current schedule of movies.

The facility is also used by NAS commands for training, safety stand-downs, ADP briefs, pre- and post-deployments briefs, as well as command award presentations and retirements are conducted throughout the year.
