MV-22 Osprey
The MV-22B Osprey is a tiltrotor V/STOL aircraft designed as the medium-lift replacement for the CH-46E Sea Knight assault support helicopter. The Osprey can operate as a helicopter or a turboprop aircraft and offers twice the speed, six times the range, and three times the payload of the CH-46E. The MV-22 Osprey’s mission for the U.S. Marine Corps is the transportation of troops, equipment, and supplies from ships and land bases for combat assault and assault support.
R44 Raven
The Imperial County Narcotics Task Force R44 Raven supports the task force mission as well as Imperial Valley law enforcement operations. The aircraft is equipped with FLIR system, Night Sun, Techsonic Communications Package, and P/A system. The aircraft is crewed by one pilot and one tactical flight officer.
S-3 Viking
The S-3B Viking is an all-weather, carrier-based jet aircraft, providing protection against hostile surface combatants while also functioning as the Carrier Battle Groups' primary overhead/mission tanker. Extremely versatile, the aircraft is equipped for many missions, including day/night surveillance, electronic countermeasures, command/control/communications warfare, and search and rescue.
