Directions and Parking

General Information

Welcome to the 100th Anniversary Parade of Flight and North Island Open House! We will do everything to ensure that your experience is safe and enjoyable. Every effort will be made to minimize delays in entering and leaving the base.

Getting In & Parking

  • The Bridge will be set at two lanes in and three lanes out all weekend. The California Highway Patrol has been contacted and are up to speed on the traffic conditions expected.
  • The Ferry service will run as normally scheduled.
  • El Cordova Garage will stage two tow trucks on the Base and have a third vehicle standing by to assist any Roadside Assistance required.
  • Any accidents or injuries on the Base will be resolved through normal procedures.

Bus Service
MTS is proud to support the Navy’s efforts to make the Centennial of Naval Aviation celebration on Saturday February 12 as accessible to visitors as possible. In addition to providing normal bus service to the NASNI main gate stop every 30 minutes on Route 901, MTS will also divert Route 904 off Orange Avenue to the main gate stop so that there is direct bus service between the Ferry Landing and NASNI. In addition, MTS will operate standard-size (40-foot) buses with 37 seats on the route to increase passenger capacity. The bus scheduled to meet each ferry operation between 10:15 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. will be supplemented with a standby bus to accommodate the expected higher-than-normal volume of passengers.
