NAWS China Lake Community Support Programs
At Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake, we have many programs available to active duty, reservists and retired Navy personnel and their families, providing sports and physical fitness activities, child development and youth programs and a variety of food and beverage services. Keep up with your exercise program at MWR's well-equipped fitness centers, swimming pools and exercise classes. Get away from it all at the golf course, an 18-hole golf course featuring chipping and putting greens, a driving range, pro shop and snack bar. MWR Information, Tickets and Tours Office has discount tickets to major leisure and entertainment attractions located throughout California and Nevada.
Relax and refresh in one of MWR's clubs and restaurants. The Paradise Community Center offers numberous hospitality and leisure services. Catch a bite to eat in the Paradise Cafe at our fabulous lunch buffets or enjoy your favorite beverage. The Barefoot Bar, open to all hands, is another favorite spot located next to the Oasis Pool and near Bachelor Housing.
Have some time to spare? Strike out for Hall Memorial Lanes Bowling Center, featuring ten synthetic lanes with high-tech scoring and pin-setting equipment. Grab a quick meal at the snack bar when you are knockng down the pins.

ITT Ski Trips 2012 - Mammoth Mountain
January 6 & 20 • February 3 & 17 • March 2, 16 & 30Join ITT on one or more of our fabulous day trips to Mammoth Mountain for some of winter’s best skiing. Bus leaves no later than 4:45 am and will return to China Lake around 9:30 pm. There will be a dinner stop on the way home. All ski trips require a minimum of 6 participants.
